Do you provide service in my area?

We provide service throughout Charleston and surrounding areas, including but not limited to:
Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner, James Island, Isle of Palms, and Sullivan's Island

Do you have a mobile service?

Yes. We offer a convenient mobile service throughout most of the Tri-county area. Our technicians can perform repairs or replacements at your home, office or hotel or a similar site where it’s safe to do the work.

Does my insurance cover windshield repairs?

If you’re a resident of South Carolina and you have comprehensive insurance, repairs and replacements are 100% covered with no deductible.

I only carry liability coverage. Will my insurance still cover a glass repair or replacement?

No. Liability insurance covers damage to other vehicles, not your own. However, McLeod Auto Glass has a variety of convenient payment options including cash, credit card or even paypal. We’ll also match any price on identical products or services.

Will a glass repair be considered a claim on my policy?

Usually, auto glass repairs are handled differently than collision claims and do not affect your insurance. Check with your insurance agent to find out how it would be handled with your specific policy.

Are your technicians certified?

Yes. All of our technicians are NGA certified. They have been trained and certified in all facets of removal and installation of auto glass, and only use techniques recommended by the manufacturer when using primers and sealers.

Is all of your service guaranteed?

Yes, our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covers you for as long as you own your vehicle.

Do you install OEM quality glass?

Yes. All of our replacements are performed with glass that has been made to meet the original specs of your vehicle’s manufacturer.

Do you fix other windows besides windshields?

Yes. Our technicians can repair and replace windshields and replace any side or back glass as well.

When can I get service?

We can usually replace your windshield by the next business day. Appointments are available from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

How long does it take for windshield repair to cure?

Generally a windshield installation will take two hours from start to finish. There is up to 1 hour of installation time and 1 hour of “curing” time. Curing time is the amount of time it takes the urethane adhesive that holds the windshield in place to dry so that your vehicle can be driven safely.
